Velocity Arms custom line
I was just browsing VA, when I saw their new custom line. I am very much interested in their new guns, specifically their M4 S-System.
http://velocityarms.ca/index.php?mai...roducts_id=330 This gun is listed at $260, regularly $290. Unfortunately, there is no information as to what brand this gun is, and I ahve come to believe that it is a JG. This confused me, because their are already carrying a JG M4 S-System, and it is listed at $80 more than their custom line. Link followed http://velocityarms.ca/index.php?mai...roducts_id=250 Can anyone confirm what their custom "V4 S-system" actually is, and if it is a JG, what year it is? Also, why this is so cheap compared to their other M4 S-System. Thanks in advance |

I could hazard a guess, but I cannot guarantee anything.
ASC does not run Velocity arms, it would be best to email them for the information.

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

It is JG, and it is cheaper because they sourced it directly from china instead of from the states, and the reciever is better than a standard JG too

So their cheaper, stuper-strong-hammer-safe lower is better than their more expensive model of essentially the same gun?
I was thinking about picking up a G&G M4 (classic version), but this one is a real eye-opener, especially the free shipping Last edited by Sawstink; October 4th, 2009 at 20:17.. |

A G&G is still better than a JG

G&G may have slightly better quality, but at less than 2/3 the price of most G&Gs, the V4 S systems is a way better buy
And I've held a G&G AK, and I can tell you now I will not touch that thing ever again, It had this horrible pebbled texture on the body, and it weighed no more than 4-5 pounds, i dont know about their armalites, but i know the G&G hicaps they come with are shit too |

Well, I can't argue with that.

So the V4 S-System isn't made of cheese and styrofoam?

cant comment on that, i dont know, but being an S system, the front end should be quite sturdy

Well I can tell you, while holding my G&G, that the stock wobbles, and after a little use the the two piece outer barrel has become loose so the whole front part wobbles. Nothing a little tape can't fix : )
It isn't 'mad' wobble though. |

First off I got the JG M4-S for my bro this spring.
The front sight was not true when I recieved it (not his fault, I'll explain later) but the stock was nice and tight. Using an allen key you can adjust the whole outer barrel or just the sight, I set the barrel as that was what had wobbled. After tightening no more problems with it getting loose. The package had not been treated well by CP, this led to the but plate being to loose as well and needing to be reset (only after I thought I stripped gears!!). I say the package was mistreated because of the shape the box was in and the .2 bbs everywhere inside (broken bag). Entirely out of VA's hands so thats nothing to worry about. I purchased the very hot A version and have yet to break anything, but it needs a sorbo to ease the load a bit. As far as I'm concerned switch to mid or low capacity mags to avoid any possible feed issues.
