Different types of cylinder
Question. What is the difference between a cylinder for (200 - 300mm) vs a cylinder for (450 - 500mm). Was wondering which one is compatible for mp5 or are both of them the same.

they are for different barrel lengths (200 - 300mm and 450 - 500mm). Most mp5s have a 227 barrel length so you should use the one that is for 200-300.

what if i use a 450 mm cylinder for my mp5 will it be better or worse?

Worse as the compression in the cylinder isn't right. But if you get a 450mm inner barrel then a non ported clyinder would work better than a porte clyinder.
