You're outside the Newbie Tank here so you should be careful about what you ask or you're going to get flamed as you have a couple of times already in this thread.

Everyone says the stock Kraken battery is junk but I haven't had any trouble with mine, it has always lasted a full game day which is usually four to five hours. I would highly recomend a good smart charger though as the cheap wall chargers that come with the Kraken will ruin batteries. Getting replacement batteries for the Kraken is a bit of a challenge as serveral people have already stated. The battery is a smallish large type with small tamiya connectors. You can make or buy adapters to allow you to hook regular large types up to it easily enough but watch out for the size, regular large types are usually a fair bit bigger and have trouble fitting into the stock.

Edit: Also, in terms of battery voltage, I wouldn't advise anything other then an 8.4 with the stock internals. Anything higher, like the above suggested 9.6, will wear out the stock internals fairly quickly.

If you convert it to a folding stock, you will have to rewire the mechbox and use a stick battery (it's the same as a 8.4v mini "brick" but setup in a stick format). It goes on top of the plastic tray that covers the mechbox.

While I don't hold flaming in high respect, and it's to the credit of those who have helped you so far that this hasn't dissolved into something useless...you really don't have to start a new post for every separate question you have about your kraken.

i was there eariler on tonight and saw the G&P AK Metal Body Set (FM Style, Folding Stock, OD) and i liked it but i thought you could just put on a folding stock whit little or no adaptror or such, but now that i think of it and from eveything you and everyone said that this would be the smartiest choice seeing as how i want to get a metal bodie and all " is it ??????" and the fact that eveyone says "get g&p". I just want to say thank you and evey one else for that matter for helping me understand this stuff even though i an a noobie.=)

Edit: dose any 1 now what way the stock folds as your looking down the sights, left or right? i am getting a rail for my red dot scope that i got and the rail mounts on the bottom and goses up the left side and also mounts on the iron sights. thanx
