Nope. If it looks like a gun or prohibited item (grenade, etc) or is a real world gun or grenade it'll most likely get seized.

Well, CanadaPost has officially stated that they refuse to ship replica explosive devices and blank rounds.

What happens when you paint a real gun blue? Does it loose its ability to fire bullets?

There has never been any Canadian law against importing, acquiring, possessing or transferring replica explosive devices, but that just means it's up to the whims of any government and shipping agents involved. "No law against" these days seem to simply mean an easier time contesting any seizure.

I don't think there's a legal issue. CanadaPost just doesn't want to have to evacuate the place and call in the bomb squad if a package breaks open and a realistic pinless pineapple desk toy bounces out of a box like the last time.

CanadaPost can implement policies that don't have to be law.

Make your own grenades?

Some of the ingredients can be ordered from the state's.......... particularly from gunbroker. The Pin, and the strap portions can be ordered.
Pineapple's grenade could be turned down in a lathe from wood . I had considered making some potato masher grenades two years ago............. but then I became very lazy.
