Classic Army SCAR Light

Hello Airsoft Canada! This is my first post. I am looking on A&A Airsoft, along side the Classic Army website. I am really really interested in buying my secound AEG. I had a Tokyo Marui M4A1, and found it to be a finniky gun, sorta loose and not what I wanted. I figure if I am going to get another one, I should get something I am completely satisfied with. My favorite gun is the SCAR-L and I think this would be a great investment. Does anyone have advice on this idea, or anything (review links) that may help?

Thanks!
-Brett-

Well if you like m4/m16 type guns, the CAs are great. Metal bodied, completely solid over the TM plastic (no barrel wobble or anything like that) CA's are pretty good internally stock, although could use a few upgrades in the future. Some people have had amazing experiences with the internals whereas others have run into a few small issues. Other then that read up on the SCAR-L if you like it, but aside from that its all up to you and what type of gun appeals to you.

Yeah, I read several reviews, and just watched a couple videos. Wow. This things ROF is very impressive. I have to work another two weeks to get this, but I think this is definately one of my top selections. I was also looking at the M15 series, but I have a desire to have a very unique gun! Does anyone know if I need to buy a battery seperate?

Yea it doesn't come with a battery, but it takes minis. Have you considered getting age verified and checking out the classifieds?

basically you meet with a verifier to prove that you are above 18 so you can buy guns off the classifieds

hmm. I dont nessesarily want to buy a gun off the classifieds. I am looking at Anderson & Anderson. They are the only Canadian Retailer carrying the SCAR that I know of. I emailed Ken At 007 but he might take a bit to get back to me

Mark at AA is great to deal with, i have bought piles of stuff through him no problem, Only thing is the shipping times are off. Not in a bad way though every thing i have got from him is 2-3 days early, just keep that in mind if you are going to be out of town

mmm no i stay home, thats good to hear that hes reliable and a good person,, ahah i would rather have my aeg come early than late though right>?
i mean nothing wrong there lol!
but thanks thats good feedback.
The american sites are charging around 360$ for the same gun in USD, and he is charging 799$ CDN. hmm. that seems like quite the jump. but i guess he can do it since hes the only canadian retailer with that gun right?
or am i wrong?

Welcome to Canada. Spend some time and read the FAQ and just browse the forums. You'll pick up things and understand more if you do some reading. Theres nothing wrong with getting age verified even if you don't plan on buying a gun from there...

its because you need a business firearms license to import airsoft, certain things you can without but guns are defiantly not one of those things.
You can blame customs for that 500 dollar price jump
