Custom made VSS Vintorez

Hello,

I took my camera today and did some shots of my custom made VSS. However, it is still not finished. The magazines will be custom VSS made and the sling ring is missing on the stock. Also, the metal piece on the rear of the reciever will be paint black.. I'll post here more pics later, when the gun will be totally finished

That is one hell of a nice piece. I was just wondering though, it looks like the inner barrel isn't lined up with where would be the regular barrel or is there an another reason for the smaller hole at the end of the silencer ?

I'm guessing the purpose of that hole on the real steel is a vent for the gasses built up by the integrated suppressor.

Thanks for your posts, I'm glad you like it!

The inner barrel is excentric and cannot be lined up in the middle.. Otherwise it wuoldn't look like a proper VSS (the silencer would be placed too low).
However, this brought also a big advantage - there is a lot of space inside of the silencer to place stick battery built from bigger cells (2000 Mah Nicd can fit there with no problems)
So, the battery is stored in the silencer which gives the gun a great potential to be upgraded. Thre will be FTK 150 in this VSS

Also, thre is no need to store the battery outside of the gun (like the one made by trapperindustries).. So, all of that advantages outweight one strange excentric hole

Thanks to Amazing KG3 for the comparison.

However, it will look even closer to the RS, since the magazines will be custom made using a plastic-injection technology. I'll post the pics when it will be really finished
