Systema Turbo Gearbox
I just got the new Systema Turbo gearbox and Motor kit. As i saw the Redwolf Airsoft videos on Youtube.com, My mind went from happy to anxious. Its kinda hot shooting 30 rounds/seconds but shooting for 2 seconds ending up for an empty clip can be pretty painfull in a skirmish....
So i need some advice FROM those that HAVE tried the gearbox and could tell me how every kind of clips perform agaisnt the high rate of fire delivered by this Systema Turbo... I already have it and am building my M-4 up from parts but i still havent bought then clips and before i do i wish i could get the good ones right-on. If no one ever tried that Systema Turbo Gearbox + Motor then i guess im in charge with doing all the testings and i will gladly do it. But i still want to be able to play skirmish with it and enjoy it right away, thus is why i need the right mags as soon as possible. As i also am wondering; Them big Box mags auto-wind, C-Mags and Drum Mags seems to be too heavy for the mag clamp and the part is, even with the steel ones, too fragile for the weight is causes, is that true ? If you have a Box mag, C-Mag or Drum Mag, i need to know ... Thanks guys !! P.S. God plays Airsoft !!! Then why would he let humans at war ? |

Ease up on the trigger is probably your best bet. Airsoft is about realism, carrying a vest full of hi-caps just ruins it. Being a BB hose is just lame unless you are using a SAW.

I'm aware of that but if i shoot a 3 burst and only one BB come out might not be the most brilliant thing to do ... I just dont know how much those mid caps can handle ... But i do hear ya !

There is a little cam you can get. It goes on the sector gear and makes that little pin that pulls back the nozzle a bit bigger so the nozzle stays back longer.
http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...1A_srch_sector I think it might be of use to you. |

Generally, if you avoid hi-caps, you should be okay.

Well, guys you have to figure out that if i got a TURBO gearbox + motor, maybe i want to be support, pretty much logical to me ! And that is what i like: Shoot like crazy and waste ammos !! Thats prolly explainable considering im dual citizen and thats gotta be my american side coming out (yeah they do shoot like mads, just look at the guns they build, lol). And i will not open the gearbox unless needed because the gearbox is made BY Systema itself and the motor... hell if they cant make those parts fit together pretty well i aint buying any Systema again ever... The gearbox has a M100 systema spring so it should be around 350 fps... Oh and by the way, all my friends are mostly upgrading to M120 springs (380-410 fps) thus is why im happy with the M100, considering they will shoot slightly farther then me giving them a chance to spoil my fun as i get closer and bring hell in their chest !
We used to play BattleField 2 alltogether and they know me by being support in the game so yeah they prolly figured out what im looking up to ... lol. I sent an email to Redwolf Airsoft as i posted this thread and they told me that ANY magazines is fast enough to support the gearbox... I still have a lil doubt and i know either me or my brother MentosIce is going to have to try it ! So i wil or he will post the results on the forums in order to help some other fellows in need of information. Thanks anyway guys !! |

Wey ferro, TIGER isnt it a big pussy ? then i guess im a pussy and play on full auto all the time cause im a maniac that really enjoys the sounds of the non stop bursts of a gun. I understand that you might be more of a sharpshooter and fully respect that, but since i am not a good shooter, well, i have to compensate !! LOL !!

Oh and as for Realism, DUH !! they is a Support class in the army and yet even better they have 150-200 rounds mags !! But anyway, it simply depends on what type of game you play and we play mainly skirmishes just to have fun (never been to a simulation and stuff). I'm still gonna make sure i have what it needs to be ok in a sim, but i prefer free scenarios as long as guns dont get passed the 500 fps... It still a game for fun... not to rip off your friends teeth so you can tell your grand kids you used to knock off your friends teeth just for the fun of it... Play nice includes shoot others kindly avoiding their face and nuts !!

yeah if you are actually support then thats fine but for realism get a 249 or at least make a sparrow then you can use that gearbox and motor and have a wicked support weapon. i was aiming towards all the goofs out there that only ever shooot full auto and the peeps that hold their gun like 2 feet above thir heads ahhahahha fuck that shit. they shouldnt have left paintball.

Tiger Claws, before you build your M-4, you might consider gutting a G&P M249, they use a v2 mechbox as I recall. You might also enjoy getting the HurricanE Shrike kit - then at least when you go milsim, you'll be able to use your gun in a support role with C-mag. Barring that, your going to end up using a regular M-4 mag, in which case I would recommend Tokyo Marui standard 68 rnd mags and judiscious use of burst firing.
If you had it all to do over, I would have told you to get the Systema Magnum kit and enjoy the ultra snappy trigger pull instead of massive ROF, but hey, whateva floats ya boat.

thephenom hit the nail on the head, hicaps are ghey and being a bb hose is even worse. learn trigger control, or as least change the motor out for an eg700 or 1000. i had a team mate have the same problem with his sig, he upgraded it to get an insane rof, but then quickly realized that didnt do him or anybody any good. so he ended up downgradeing his motor to solve the problem. thats all id reccommend doing, you wont get much respect running oround useing hicaps, its also completley an utterly unfair for the guy on the other end, he cant advance or move up if you dont have to stop to reload. you also lose out as you dont have to work well as a squade bounding, covering and speed loading. your just ruining the game for all involved, even yourself.
