Buying airsoft guns and bring them into Canada.

I think someone might have this kind of question post here but I couldn't find it. So I just gonna ask again.
I know for sure, If I purchase an airsoft from online store that located outside of Canada, when custom do their job, I heard they will send the airsoft to RCMP department in Ottawa and had the gun tested, make sure the FPS is between 365 and 500. It will cost you the shipping fee and lots of time waiting. However, If I physically present in that airsoft store in US, or had them ship to US and bring into Canada, how does CBSA deal with that kind of situation?
