Opinions on Maple Armouries

Hey guys I’m looking to buy a new aeg and I’m really interested in the Maple Armouries Blackout, but it’s been difficult to come across reviews of the gun. I’m just looking for opinions on the quality of maple armouries as a brand as well as their guns. Thanks!

I tried their metal one and their plastic one..

For the price point of the plastic vs a CM16 I'd grab the the maple one hands down of the G&G.

for the metal price point, I'd go with a VFC.

I used to own the metal SBR rifle. Iirc it was $309 + tax or something.

I think the gun was a great little gun. I only sold it because I ended up wanting something with accurate trades on it, but the owner does custom trades now too I believe.

I actually talked to the owner directly about the gun, it was a rush order, and he was happy to help with that. Very friendly, very accommodating.

I consulted with Jake regarding what the put in the guns when he was starting this whole thing up. Unfortunately cost talked louder than I did for the first run of Maple SBRs, where we saw a less than stellar failure rate with less than stellar overall quality. Thankfully with the new Maple Armouries AEGs he learned and improved from our previous experiences. While I have yet to open one of these AEGs up, they seem to have changed to a new manufacturer, overall quality is higher, and he put in a lot of the parts and improvements I recommended. The new AEGs seem very promising for the price point.
