could be bad switch or a poor connection anywhere else.

Try connecting a battery to the bulb directly with wire to test the bulb and battery. If it lights up without any of the switchgear or holder hardware, then your problem is connection related in the grip itself.

The bulb and battery both work outside the flashlight in the foregrip. I took the pressure switch apart, there dont seem to be any loose connectors, they are both still welded in fine. I cant remove the flashlight from the grip or take the grip apart to check on the connector inside the flashlight.

This is kind of a pain in the butt because i was assured it worked when i bought it, after spending over 50$ on a new battery and light im a little miffed.

Fixed.

Pulled the whole thing apart and seperated the flashlight from the foregrip. Inside the flashlight where the battery touches the back of the light inside the foregrip to complete the circut, i found some electrical tape in there. Electrical tape wrapped around the inner wall of the flashlight cutting off the circut o.O
