Fields in the area?

Hey!

Im super new to airsoft (if you can say im a part of airsoft at all...havent bought anything yet lol) and i was wondering if anyone knows of any fields in the collingwood, wasaga beach, barrie area other than wasaga beach and barrie paintball ? I have looked around and those are the only two i have seen so far and am just curious if theres anything else.

like i said, i do know of wasaga and barrie paintball so if anyone has more info on these places (when they play airsoft, how much it is, how the fields are etc...) that would be greatly appreciated!

Also, any players in the area that are up to chat or maybe hit the field somday? I'm very interested in trying airsoft because i used to really be into paintball but have a lot more interest in the realism of airsoft.

Prety sure there are still a few private fields around your area. However for me living in toronto I'd consider those fields local to me as well.

oh ok thanks ! Are there any players in the Barrie, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach area ? Ive seen a few on here but none that have been active in the last 2 years

definitely lots of players in the barrie area, both fields you have mentioned get about 20-40 players each every sunday. wasaga is $28 to play and barrie is slightly more(7 dollars i think)

both have a field limit of 400 fps and bio bbs are a requirement.

games are hosted every sunday at wasaga by Sir-Games-A-Lot.
and games at barrie paintball are hosted by Canada Wide Airsoft.


we generally use our facebook groups for chatter.

2 main groups in barrie are

BAAR ( barrie area airsoft reserves )
and
Sir Games A Lot Airsoft.

both groups are super friendly and always helpful to new players.

many of the players in the area belong to both groups, neither are formal teams but both have milsim teams which are composed of many of the same players.
baar milsim and the knights attended Nightfall 5 this year under the BAAR name.

games in barrie and wasaga are every sunday
