Just so you know EBB on most guns is usually weaksauce (just a piece of metal that moves back and forth with the piston). AFAIK the only system that has decent-ish blowback is the TM Recoil Shock and to an extent the Modify Tremors kit.

If you want realism of blowback, GBBR or bust.

BTW: Why do you need to upgrade the shit out of it? Remember upgrade the player, not the gun.

If you really want realism, go real steel. Once you fire a real gun you'll realise GBBR blowback is so weak that you might as well get an AEG.

I need blowback for realism I have ebb on my gsg522 and it actually adds some kick to it and I like the sound its my personal preferance I am looking for a full metal cqb m4 and the reason I am upgrading it is because who doesn't want the best gun they can possibly have I know some people will troll me for upgrading right away but once again my personal preferance, my money, my life I'm only asking for advice thanks

how about classic army? this a good shell to upgrade?

There's nothing wrong with upgrading right away. Trying to "upgrade" everything when you don't really know what you're doing is the problem.

CA sportline guns are "ok", but not as good as their regular line. Some of the internal parts seem to be the same, the motor isn't as good, the gearbox shell looks pretty bad. Assembly in general on their sportlines seems to be really half assed compared to their regular lineup.

What's your upgrade plan? Or are you just going to throw parts at it randomly? Cause I'll let you know that's a straight up recipe for disaster. It's like upgrading the engine of a car by tossing parts into it without having an endgame. Are you looking for better handling, power, looks, all NA, turbo, etc.? No point in putting an Intake Header and Exhaust if you're looking for more rigidity and just need some strut braces. First thing I want to do when I get my next car or bike is to upgrade the shit out of it and that's fine and dandy but I have a endgame plan not just tossing a mismash of random parts at it Nukeproof, Truativ, SRAM, Avid's, RaceFace etc.

Also I still think it's better to upgrade the player and not the gun. For example I could try racing an 1190RS but someone who's competent on a 250 could probably run circles around me by virtue of practice (in this case upgrade the rider, not the bike). Sure it's nice to have nice things but it's not the end all be all, it's only a part of the equation to being effective.

BTW I don't think it's possible to get an EBB system to fit many guns that weren't designed for it (eg. G&G EBB may not fit in a VFC, and when you try to start upgrading you'll run into problems). The only system you could realistically drop into a VFC or CA or whatever would be the Modify Tremors kit (which you then need to have your gun front wired) that or just get the TM Recoil Shock SOPMOD but they're a bit hard to find in Canada and pricey (and I think some internals are proprietary or weird).

EBB is a gimick really... but if you are going EBB go for TM, all the other EBB guns that other brands come out with kidna suck IMO, the G&G top tech blowback is meh. VFC do not have EBB guns..

TBH no point having an EBB but whatever floats your boat buddy...

EDIT: seriously though if you want "realism" go GBBR......pointless to get a Electric Blowback they look stupid and make it even more unrealistic IMO

VFC makes an EBB AK-74, but like everyone has mentioned EBB is a waste of time, and only adds for more potential things to break on your gun.
