Trigger failure after rapid firing on semi.
Hi there, so I'll try to explain this as best I can, with pictures.
I opened my gearbox, installed some new parts, a lighter spring ect. Put it back together, test fired it on semi, after about 15-20 cycles or more it just stops. From outside of the gearbox looking in through slot the trigger assembly seems to be functioning perfectly, nothing looks to be getting hung up on anything. NOTE: When it malfunctions there is a noticeable clicking sound every time the trigger is squeezed, there is no sound like that when it works. ![]() I then switch it from semi to fully auto, fire it and go back to semi, the problem then repeats itself. ![]() ![]() Also, the trigger itself is kinda broken, I'm certain this has nothing to do with it though. |

You don't have the cutoff lever spring in place in your photos. Although not necessary it is good to test with the spring in place.
Also, for your trigger needs: http://www.ventureairsoft.ca/item.ph...d0ca704d3ac746 |

The cut-off lever disengages the trigger sliding part that makes the current go from the battery to the motor. In Semi, it happens that a cycle is not completed and the cut-off lever prevents the slider from making proper contact, so it does not cycle. Putting the spring back will help for sure, and the ultimate upgrade is a MOSFET that does complete a full cycle even if you do a fast trigger pull.
