Hello everyone,
My G3 SG1 was fine. When I took it to a game at Flag Raiders the BBs where going up after 12-15 meters, no matter if I adjusted the hop-up to minimum, middle or maximum(actually at maximum it would not work at all). Ever happened to anyone of you guys?
Much apreciated,
Danny

I bet someone before you has taken that gun, and hopup, apart before and did not know their stuff. If not, you have something badly wrong with it.
Have a local doctor look at it. It could be anything from a bad adjustment, to a bad hopup bucking.
What ammo weight were you using? Are there any modifications in that gun at all?

Two things come to mind:

Firstly, someone disassembled the hop-up to replace the rubber, or for the hell of doing so. When putting it together, they forgot to put in the little rubber nub that goes on the arm of the hop-up lever. Without this nub, the rubber cannot be pushed down, no matter how much you turn the dial.

The second problem could be the dial is not seated correctly. When you pull out the barrel + hop-up assembly, check to see if the tip of the hop-up lever is positioned inside the groove that is etched on the dial. I'll take a pic if you have no idea what I'm talking about. Sorry if my choice of words is confusing.
