Propane Adapter not filling the magazines fully
Hey I have a couple propane adapters(metal) and a bunch of assorited magazines, but when i try to fill the magazine the propane just sprays everywhere. And i only get 4-5shots out of it. I tried holding it straight alligned with the mazazine, but still wont fill the mag. On any magazine.
Is there something im missing? Anybody else have this problem? |

Not to be offensive, but first question is.
The can of propane and the magazine are upside down yes?

Make sure you put a few drops of silicone oil on the o-ring of the propane adapter. Propane is cold and drys out the o-ring on the adapter so you're going to have to oil that part quite frequently. Unscrew the two part of the propane adapter, put a few drops on the o-ring and on the threads as well as a few drops in the center and than screw the adapter back together making sure that you're not pinching or squeezing the o-ring too much.

I have seen the metal ones do this often, my suggestion would be to get the gas gun kit from AI.
At our last game I happen to forget my propane and every one of the metal ones I tried would do the same thing you are describing.

Yep, buy a plastic AI adapter. They are much easier on the fill valve of the magazine.

a few things;
1. Hold the can straight upside down, Magazine lip facing the ground, valve facing the ceiling. 2. Make sure your propane tank is new, if it's low, it'll only equalize the pressure in the mag, and you wont be able to get a full fill. 3. Buy a good propane adapter (Airsoft Innovation kit is the cat's meow when it comes to Propane adapters ) |

Alright so I lubed it up with silicone oil and i filled up two mags no problems. Maybe that was the problem is to lube up the oring. Hopefully it keeps working for me.
Thanks Joe |

Works for me all the time. But be careful with the metal adapter though, if you're not square on the fill valve you can damage it and that's not a good thing. Glad to hear that you got it figured out. Wasn't sure if I explained it good enough.

Use the O-ring off the back of a refillable lighter, and put that into your mag, use a safety pin or need to get it out. 100% seal not matter what adapter you use.
