trigger help
ok i just bought am aftermath x2 m16 with grenade launcher thought it was a good starter gun met what i wanted in a gun but my problem came less then 48 hours after perches. i was doing target practice and the trigger broke off now i am taking the gun back for a new one but if in the future it happens again how do i go about fixing and replacing with a nice metal trigger wear would one find that part i looked at 007airsoft and many other places and can't find triggers. also what parts from other makers work with after math any help would be great thanx

I believe it uses a V2 gearbox. You would need to search for "V2 Metal Trigger". Buy it, then open up your gearbox, replace the trigger.

More correctly, an M16 trigger. Several guns use the Version 2 gearbox, the armalite series (M16/M4) being only one.

well i hope i wont break another trigger but i now know to just replace with a good one right away thanx for your help. now dose any one know what's compatible with aftermath guns or should i just stay away from them

We generally advice people to stay away from Aftermath.
It's like going mountain biking with a no-name bike you found in the nic-nac section of a convenience store.

shitty that seems to be the only good guns they are selling out here in Vancouver area it would be nice if there was a better store around here to shop at i'm not a big online shopper i like to look at the gun and hold it ok so no aftermath what is a good gun for a newbie. i want to stay low cost and upgradable

Well all the posts here would be correct but....
The gun he purchased has a plastic gearbox. Albeit a full ver.2 plastic clone but still a plastic gearbox so even if he wanted to keep it the trigger probably wouldn't be compatible. Save up and get at least an aftermath lycaon or other substitute w/ a metal gearbox. |

yeah not after an mp5 want a m4 but thanx for the point in the right direction as far as budget well i want to keep the gun it's self under 200 250 then worry about metal bodies and all that good stuff and were in Vancouver can i get the my age verified. but thanx you guys have been very helpful and any more ideas would be great
