Well, I've been around a little longer than you, and I've had Marui guns with 50,000 rounds down them before you knew airsoft even existed. They need nothing done to them to run well. They are not the best guns ever, nor do they have the most amazing performance. They shoot, shoot well, are inexpensive, and have the largest model line-up.

If you want a gun that will hit the target, don't care about plastic everything and are OK with sub-300 fps velocity, Marui is fine.
