I've considered using headlights before as an addition to using a pistol light. I find that I can get too fixated on where the gun is pointed when using a weapon light. A fixed weapon light is not conducive to maintaining a sweeping threat scan.
I've goofed around with a Princeton headlight I use for cycling and found tuning it on and off too clumsy for CQC. It would make sense to use a bite switch so it could be easily activated without having to reach for a forehead switch. I often like to pop between lighting an area and going dark so it would be handy to have an easy activation switch that doesn't occupy the hands.

I have a 200 lumen light mounted on my MP7 for cqb, and that has been enough to make a few noobs call hit, no shots needed.
