Great site!
Good old kasha. Eating that stuff every week for the past 32 years and can never get tired of it! Buckwheat is actually considered to be healthy food. It can only be found in Eastern European stores for some reason. I was seriously considering bringing a bag and a can of "tushenka" for our training event this weekend 2 cups of buckwheat/4 cups of water and 400-500g can of "tushenka" can easily feed 3-4 adults and only takes about 20-30 minutes to make.

Damnit man........ now I want some. Part of my whole re-evaluation and "re-tooling" for airsoft and I general includes a hopeful shift from IMPs and I've been eying Russian methods of food for their simplicity

I didn't mention bread and vodka because those two things are included in every meal by default

Haha. Too true.

Trying to save money to buy land, my ideal plan would be to get way out of it all and live heavily off the land, means I'll have to learn to make my own alcohol, specifically Vodka
