Actually, you could have a Russian Liberation Army impression on the western front.

They were many ROA/KONR units in normandy at the time of the landings (ref: http://www.feldgrau.com/rvol.html / http://books.google.ca/books?id=DGYM...rmandy&f=false; so a russian volunteer impression serving as part of a osttruppen battallion on the western front is historically accurate. Most of these battallions were integrated into static division and were more often than not equipped with a mix of captured weapons (captured mosin-nagant were issued under the designation: G254(r) (ref: http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=64343).
