It absolutely is, the HK416 has a taller top rail, placing everything further away from the barrel.
Lastly, to stay on topic: I agree with the 5.56 people. The MK18 Mod 0 / 1 are excellent options for CQB. Short enough, with enough flexibility to easily dominate outdoors equally well.
