New beretta pistol in Hanna?

Hey guys,

Sorry if this is the wrong section...I figured airsoft media would probably be the most appropriate.

Has anyone seen the movie Hanna? I just saw it and it kicked ass. During the movie, at one point the main protagonist Hanna gets her hands on a service pistol and owns a few CIA grunts with it.

When I saw it upclose I knew it was a Beretta design by looking at the front end of the slide but the rest of the gun was unknown to me.

Is there a new Beretta model other than the m92a1? It looks like a cross between a M92 and a USP but I'm 100% sure its not the smaller PX4..

Heres a picture...although the gun is kinda blurry :

Edit

Im at work so it wont let me use better image upload websites, it works fine though and you just need to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the full size picture...otherwise just search "hanna movie pistol" in google images and youl find it.

Oh and im not talking about the Luger.

Hey thanks for the link! could be usefull for other films.

Unfortunately that link obviously doesn't count the beretta I'm mentioning...

And i'm 10000000% sure the gun Hanna used when she was inside the CIA compound was not a standard m9 beretta...although her dad (Bana) does use the m92fs later in the film.

There's a discussion about it here. They believe its a Vektor SP1.

Vektor ? (Vector?)

Like the company that makes the KRISS ?

Thanks for the info, I think that it was one of the most awesome looking modern guns i've seen...perfect blend of H&K tactical design and Beretta beauty....

Thanks again !

That does it, it is most definitely a Vektor (vector? ) SP1

Wow that is one sexy gun.

Too bad it will never be made into airsoft (sigh)

Nah, Vektor is a brand of sorts of firearms made by a South African firm whose name I can't currently recall. They manufacture weapons primarily for the SANDF.

It is unrelated to TDI, who makes the Vector submachine gun.

Vektor is an imprint of Denel, makers of the famed NTW-20 sniper rifle, aka the sniper rifle from Halo.

Denel Land Systems, that's what it was. Cheers.
