Thanks bud, its actually the lightweight HBT trousers I am wearing, not the M43. They saw distribution just before D-Day (some units got them) and more after the landings.

Thanks for the generous feedback guys, the BAR certainly makes it. As much as I love the Thompson, its this baby that gets people chatting in the safe zone!

You can see the HBT weave in a pic or two.

I should post some pics of my FJ, 5th Ranger and FSSF some time.

Hey Beastor, get your WW2 mates and yourself on a plane to Ontario for a game here. I'll pay your field fee. Bring the gear. Leave the guns at home.

I second both of those ideas!

Sounds very tempting indeed guys, I have been on holiday in Canada and loved it, combining that with airsoft sounds pretty damn cool!

Funnily enough I have a couple of Canadian work collegues I just introduced to airsoft here in Scotland (they work in the oil industry here too) and they went nuts for it!

Wearing the jacket over the webbing this time, noticed a fair soldiers doing it in the newsreels and photos. Very comfortable, and actually handy for the heat, you can take off the jacket when you are getting a bit sweaty and not have to worry about removing your harness!

Only recommend one thing, RG camo stick on the face and back of hands, will be totally totally convincing.

Great job!

A dead German or two (or ten) in the background would be nice.

Regardless, great pics. Always enjoyable to see your impressions beastor.

Camo stick face paint? Ima-usa.com sells dated originals. Consult your dermatologist first.

Hey beastor, do you know anyone in your circle that has an SRC MP 40. I saw it advertised in AI Mag. Electric blowback( yeah I know) with a FET installed. Just wondering if anyone games with them.

You've seen a lot of pictures of WWII soldiers wearing camo have you? Because I haven't!

At best burnt cork for night patrols to take the shine off the face.
