GBB mags dont fill...
hey everybody
I have a brand new propane tank and a brand new AI propane adaptor. I installed it right just like they said, I insert the probe in the mag valev but nothing happens...what am I doing wrong? Also, when I press on the valev of the tank, propane comes out so its not the tank Last edited by Huge; November 20th, 2009 at 20:21.. |

what brand of tank is it? madmax pointed out a while ago that some of the coleman's have an issue with a ring being too tight to the point that the it doesnt actuate the valve properly. the new adaptors should have a thingus sticking out for that specific test...just shove it down the hole of the tank and if it clears unobstructed that you're good and have to continue diagnosing....but if the thingus encounters resistance than you probably should try another tank

Which way are you holding the GBB magazine?
YouTube- KWA Glock 17 GBB mag fill and dry fire vid. You're supposed to fill the magazine upside down like this guy does in the 1st bit of the video. |

yes this is exactly how I did it, except there is no gas whatsoever coming out the adaptor tip.

what do you mean? you're not testing the valve on the tank...anything that fits down the hole will release gas. you're checking for resistance on the oring in the fill neck of the tank itself before you actually hit the valve pin with the adaptor off. the test probe should pretty much drop in unincumbered. if there's resistance than you can try a differant tank.
