No, its not. I think the production team on this film decided it was time they had a little artistic dive into producing some their own stuff for the film. Like said before I think this was an improved heat shield so that they could fire super heated rounds that penetrate the Decepticon armor, with burning their hands off. I don't know if I liked them or not, just seemed like big toy guns really.

Wow, that's just amusing. They're not That big, they're just very well shaped.
Anywho: I don't konw if you;d really want that on your gun: it'll just make it the more heavier and harder to use. |

He has a US flag on the front of his vest, I'd say it's MARPAT.

Just remember that ACU and The new Air Force uniform (Digital Tiger Stripe) look similar at a distance.

been noticing these "transformers go bags" on ebay lately:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/Molle-Assault-Asl...3286.m63.l1177 The silly thing doesn't seem to have a stabilizing strap by the look of it. Have seen them in multicam, ACU, black etc... |

Pantac makes a good replica of those Go Bags, which are originally designed and made by SO Tech

There just so happens to be 2 of the pieces needed for an authentic loadout of the Crye Multi-Cam kit in the classifieds right now. I seem to recall seeing a range vest and SOTech go-bag in there somewhere pretty recently. The owner did have the complete loadout at one point.

For the camo, it looks like a couple of em are wearing 3 color desert, a few are wearing ACU, a couple are wearing ABU, looks like 1 of em is wearing desert DPM, and some Desert Marpat. Arid Cadpat has more of a pinkish hue, not to mention the guy has a US patch. I consider Desert Marpat to be the most practical desert camo because it actually makes you look a bit like a rock.
