Slow start only slightly delays the inevitable, you still get arcing later in the shot. Also, slow start kills one of the main benefits of using a high-discharge LiPo in the first place (trigger response).
If you aren't using LiPos to fuel your gun with the urgency of 10000 race horses leaping out of a gate, then what the heck is the point?
The main reason these things (Avocado, Wizard) exist is to provide some logical trigger control functionality.
Using them on high powered setups is pointless.
