The tm high caps work great. For the first while. Than go to shit. The dreaded "ber-zzzz" mid game. Lol

I held an ka p90. And also noticed they have a quick change spring. Which would be nice for any gun.

As for creaking body? My tm is 5 years old. And no creak. How hard are you crushing this thing?

The new tr setup is how the real steal is apparently.

So it used to be that *the* P90 to get was the Echo1 version but now with KA's P90 (and at a pretty reasonable price too) is this still the case or is it beneficial to buy the KA version and do upgrades on that.

Does KA still have that inconsistent piston o-ring issue? How about the cutoff lever same material as their V2's or is it redesigned and better to not deform and stop working after a lot of semi auto usage? Anyone drop in upgrade parts into it yet? Are they relatively consistent to TM spec (ie. will a Guarder FTK for P90 drop in into the KA or is it like the CYMA V7 vs the TM V7 where it's relatively close to TM spec, but off enough to require a lot of modification for part fitment)?

p90 cutoff levers are always in contact with the sector gear cam. Where in a v2/3 configuration, the fire selector physically moves the cutoff out of the way, the v6 does not do this, and the cutoff lever wears whether on semi or full no matter what.

I'm getting one of these bad boys for my new main arm, so that the four-man fire team I'm part of is cohesively equipped.

Aside from an extended tightbore barrel, what else should be done to this bad boy?

I'll be getting the tri-rail variant, by the way (as this thread seems to imply there's other versions)

P90 high caps are extremely terrible because of you shaking the gun to feed bbs in. My brother had a echo1 p90 and he ended up selling it for 30 dollars which he had bought it for 350. I wouldn't be so sure about the KA internal quality because I know a person who bought a KA M4 and it had terrible compression. I think the fps ranged 280-350 when he used a chrono

You don't need an extended barrel. Just run it stock.

Leave it stock. The whole point about a P90 is that it's "short". The inner barrel is already quite long, as long as an M4 CQB-R, but the gun is half the size.

An optic/aiming device would be higher in priority, as the stock KA sight is a pain to use. Canadian-Tire special Tasco 30mm RDS is my favorite. Aimpoint T1 would be equally good too, but quality is no there (at least the ones I tried).

Would you advise against using a Crosman Copperhead RDS? I mean, after a bit of research it looks like it'll get the job done; but I'd like to hear what far more experienced players have to say.

If you like the look, sure.
I prefer a tube-style aiming device. Also the Tasco is made for shotguns and revolvers, so it will take a beating before breaking.
