Beretta Cougar "F" M8045
This is my WA Beretta Cougar. I bought it off a friend for $200 which included a total of three mags that came with the gun, 2 standard black, one silver to match the gun. The silver mag needs to have the seals replaced but that's the only thing wrong with the gun. It has a metal slide and shoots really nice on propane.

Wow, that's an awesome deal too... ...Nice friend! How's the visual difference between the metal slide and the frame? |

I love that model, more than the M9.

How's the rotating outer barrel? Probably the most interesting item on the gun...

I'm not too familiar with GBB handguns. I just started playing airsoft in December and I just got the handgun last week, so as of yet I can't really answer any questions about it until I learn more about it myself.

Funny, I didn't think there was a metal slide for the 8045.

I agree, the finish on WA guns is very nice, but I doubt if it is metal.
I mean.. If all else fails; lick it when it's -40 degrees out. There's a surefire way to test if it's metal or not But what I was talking about the rotating barrel system... If you look at the shell ejecting port and the front barrel, when you pull back on the slide the front barrel should actually rotate. If my springer does it, so should yours! (And the real steel version does too)

if it's plastic my knife should have sliced through it, not scratched it.

WA guns are made with a very tough plastic. Like grim said above- Why would another metal slide manufacture put "western arms" on theirs...
Short answer- Yes the GBB is plastic, however, it is not shit plastic in the least.

I didnt gouge the side of the slide like a maniac. I had taken a razor blade to the a very small edge of the slide on the very back inside. I wouldn't cut a damn chunk out of it.
I checked it over once again and I must stand corrected. It looks and feels like metal but it is plastic. I stand corrected. |
