17-18 Jan 09 - The Long Winter, WWII Battle of the Bulge Sim
WHAT: Battle of the Bulge WWII Simulation WHERE: Home, WA WHEN: 17-18 JAN 2009 (1945) COST: $50 pre-registered FORUMS: http://www.battlesim.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=221 If you do WWII - this is the event you have been waiting for! If you've never done WWII - this is the event to start!! This will be the 4th Battle of the Bulge event hosted by Battlesim.com and we think it is going to be the best one yet! Registration will open in early November. Set at the closing of the Bulge, Allied units will have their hands full trying to open up lines defended by pockets of German units. By 15 January, Seventh Armys VI Corps was fighting on three sides in Alsace. With casualties mounting, and running short on replacements, tanks, ammunition, and supplies, Seventh Army was forced to withdraw to defensive positions on the south bank of the Moder River. The temperature during January 1945 was extremely low. Trucks had to be run every half hour or the oil in them would freeze, and weapons would freeze. The offensive went forward regardless! |

Why wouldn't it be? They rent weapons and uniforms. If you have the gear and uniform all you need is to rent a weapon from them. I would go but it's too long of a road trip for us in Ontario. But one of these times I'm going to make it out to one of their events... maybe a summer event. You guys out west should make it out.

lol, I had a fight with the wife already about attending that!! But seriously, that event is on my to-do list when I get my kit together.(Half way there.) But don't feel like making the trip by my self. Having a hard time finding any ww2 airsoft prospects out here.(so far, it's me)

Though that would be a heck of a road trip, I'd be up for that as long as recording devices of any sort were prohibited. |

They have some pics up if you go to their forum, looks like it was a good one, maybe about 75 people all geared up.
