Cool. What type of terrain are you planning to work in? I'd assume a desert/dead grass type area from the way you made it.

I'd suggest one thing, get some nylon mesh (say a dollar store lingerie laundry bag) cut a 4x4" section from it, spray paint it the same colour as you used on your rifle, then take off your front scope flip up cover, press fit the mesh over the lense then press the flip cover on over it. It'll get rid of that big black circle your scope is making, and give you an ounce or two of reflection resistance without obstructiong your view much. It'll make the view a slight bit different, tiny bit of fuzziness to the image, but still 100% useable.

Oh yah, I forgot to do that, thanks.

Did that for another scope along time ago

But I used a white t shirt, ripped it into long thin sheets and wrapped the scope then sprayed it tan.

works good and the shirt can go infront of the scope and still see through it

EDIT: I havent even put natural vegetation into the ghillie yet, ill do that tommorow at the game field, so itll be even bigger

My Rifle Wrap in Progress

Well this is my m14 rifle wrap in progress. I am just deciding if I should get a scope or a rds ( any suggestions? )

Pic (1,2) The wrap

Pic (3) How its attached - Button at the flash hider, then a strap that weaves between two parts of the rifle ( very snug) and then velcro just above the sling mount

Pic(4) Just the colors and netting I used for the wrap ( volley ball 1' by 1' net)

Any suggestions on what could be done to improve it (other than finishing it) would be appreciated.

This is my rifle wrap for my Tanaka M700 AICS. Got a matching ghillie suit as well.

I'll post up my ghillie suit once I get a pic of it on.

Ghillie matching =P

I'll have a ghillie to match it soon enough.

Keep in mind, I bought sheets of this stuff and then unthreaded it the sheets. I bought enough meters of it too i've got another 1/4 of that pile of that in my car. I am going to buy a cheap-o pair of used bdu's within the next few days and I'll start posting progress of my ghillie in this thread

I had to make the bundles myself, it came in a giant wrap, like a bandage wrap, so it took me a good 12-14 hours to get enough.

Mongoose, you should look into this (http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...ight=killflash) easy and simple way to distort the shape of your scope a bit more instead. Its what I plan on doing ( If I get a scope. prob not doing if i get a rds)

Lol, my thread! Ya, I figure I'll give it a spray paint stripe either on each side or through the middle to break up the solid circle shape.

Here's a pic of me from last year at Sniper Hunt, Raven got hit then sat back and watched the continuous barrage of BBs coming our way (if you save the pic and enlarge it, you can see BBs flying by and bouncing around, easiest one is in the middle of the tree I'm behind). Found out later the guys knew roughly where were were, but weren't able to target us until they closed in. I'm facing the base we stirred up, and my rifle is canted to the left because I pulled it in close to reload it.

I just took this pic of me in my ghillie. It's not home made, I bought it from ghilliesuits.com.
