Allen keys for Ring Mounts
I have a recently purchased scope sitting at home doing absolutely nothing because I can't find any Allen keys that will fit its mounts. The mounts looke pretty generic except that the mount sits in a vertical, up-right position (the mounting screws are top and bottom instead of left and right, see pic below)
I have a standard Allen key set (like 6 different sizes) and 3 allen keys I have obtained from various other mounts/accessories. I've tried every single one and all of them are either too large or too small! Please help me! Where can I find an allen key that will fit these mounts? (the pic below are not the exact mount, but one that is of the same "up-right" position style) Thanks.

Try Imperial. Most Allen keys and hex screws are metric, with the exception of those made in the US.

I would say just try going out to the local hardware store and buying a full allen key set .. not a dollar store special but an actual full set of keys .. I got mine for $10 at walmart and it has every size you'll probalby ever need.
