TM AUG barrel woble

hi guys, I recently got a TM AUG Military, which has a considerable amount of barrel woble, and I was wondering if I could Get some tips on how to cure that.

sorry if this has already been posted before, but I did look for it.

There are 3 points of wobble in any well loved AUG.

The first is between the barrel and gas block... this can generally be fixed by tightening down a hex set screw beneath the vertical foregrip stem.

The second is between the gas block and the upper receiver, this can be fixed by installing a slim 1" O-ring around the barrel to fill the gap; it will take a considerable amount of force to fit it the first time... where have I heard that before.

The third is between the upper reciever and the stock component. This can be fixed by shimming it out on the underside of the stocks interior. You'll want a small peice of material ( duct tape will work, although there are much better options. ) stuck in there to fill any gap between the upper and stock... make sure not to overshim or the body pin won't seat propperly.

thanks a bunch. when i am done with this AUG it will be as good as new (hopefully).

np, most guns that have seen this treatment end up better then new.

Augs are terrible for their wobbles, you should see my 9 year old... its practically falling apart without all its shims... just be sure that as you add material you pay close attention to the airseal from your hopup to gearbox as the added material could result in a gap and airleak.
