how much compensation can I get for getting an inaccurate item as advertised?
ok maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but I received a VFC MP5K from airsoftgobal. in the item pics, there were the stamped markings here as shown:
but when I received the gun that part was blank. I emailed CS and they said they can only offer me a $25 credit. should I ask for more or dispute in PayPal perhaps? |

Negotiating with companies is just beating around the bush imo, they'll probably give you a lame credit, like $25 LOLWUT.
I would try with them, and ask for a new receiver; if they don't dispute with paypal and say the item received wasn't what was advertised. If you don't want to be an asshat, try to get what value % you think is fair. If I was a HKFANBOY like you and didn't get my engravings, I would demand at least 50% back of my cost Engravings for those alone here in Canada (First finding a source) second, the cost would be over $100 bucks, + Shipping to them, and back to you. |

I've ordered rail accessories from Asia that weren't exactly what the picture showed. I just accepted them since the small differences weren't worth the effort. In the end if the function is identical I'd accept it for what it is.

This is standard boilerplate to cover issues like a picture not matching up %.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AirsoftGlobal and its associates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, AirsoftGlobal does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by AirsoftGlobal itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

Ask for money back and return the product... or don't. You either received what they advertised, or you didn't. Many products have multiple variants (some region specific) and may have subtle changes from one to the next that they won't even bother checking. So unless the add says "real trademarks", then it's just a picture of the same product, but slightly different.

It's possible that they put putty or sticker over it, can you post a pic of your gun?

edit: I know it's a little detail that I'm fussing over about, but you can also just throw in a WE Apache MP5K in there and claim that it's VFC and we'll never know because the WE Apache doesn't have the marking there either. Last edited by NAAZ; November 11th, 2016 at 17:13.. |

seing as your typical VFC costs about half as much as an HK branded VFC, despite using essentially the same materials, I would agree with BioRage, 50% is deffinantly fair, but take what you can get, some of these airsoft retailers from overseas really could care less about customer satisfaction.

It's definitely not a small deal as the markings and externals are the main selling point of the VFC MP5s.
It's very strange that yours is missing the markings on the receiver. Every single VFC MP5 that I've seen has the markings there. By the way, I hope you took a screenshot of the original page because they ninja-edited their photo on the product page: Taken from this link: http://www.airsoftglobal.com/shop/in...ducts_id=16951 Edit: here's the cached version, the photo with the right side of the receiver has markings!: http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=ca Last edited by uncle_benny12; November 11th, 2016 at 20:39.. |

It's airsoft made in China so either return or sell it.I tem arrived not as described is usually not the Merch's problem thanks to that clause mentioned above. Did you take a boxing video showing that nothing was tampered with before it was opened, either by you or someone else besides the merchant? Tough case.
If you're not satisfied give it to me and I will gladly "compensate" you. *Winkwinknudgenudge*. |
