a lemon would mean the gun doesn't shoot or shoots poorly(unusually low fps or constantly veers off) as long as your inner barrel isn't "crooked" you shouldn't have any problems. As for the sight... it comes withe the territory of aeg ownership. Tollerences and quality control aren't the greatest when it comes to "toys" especially prevailant on chinese clones. Your problem is superficial and shouldn't affect the "performance" of the gun, only aesthetics. you should be able to fix that or worse case.. purchase new furniture/accessories etc.

That's a JG HK416, right?

First, check if the two pins of the front sight are there (on its bottom).

If not, the outer barrel may be misplaced.
-Remove the handguard;
-Take out the outer barrel then put it back in (be careful, there's a small spring there) to ensure it's properly seated;
-Screw back the barrel nut, tighten it;
Check if it's better.

Send a message via Skype™ to TaktikAirsoft
Have you tried to shoot and check the trajectory?

This will tell you if you have any barrel problems.
You would need at least 60 to 80 to really get a good Idea.

From the pictures I don't think your barrel would affected.
If you can disassemble it, see how the outer barrel slides off.
If it doesn't come off smoothly then you have a bent barrel.

AngelusNex (formerly Sepulcrum) had this problem with his 416 as well. Perhaps a message to him can shed some light.

The sights look fine but the pictures aren't great so it's hard to say.

Pull off the handguard and see if the gas block and front sight are in-line with the rear sight and receiver.

If they are OK then you just need to work up a shim to make sure the handguard stays tight and straight. The how to is mentioned in some of the JG 416 topics on the site.
