Seriously stupid battery question

Yesterday I got my shiny new FAMAS SV and all the stuff I need to plunge into the wonderful/costly world of airsoft. Now the problem. With a Marui trickle charger, how long does it take to charge a 17000 mah large battery? I know your answer can't be exact, but can you give a hint? Also, is there any way to tell when it's done? Thanks a pile.

I'd like to ask everyone the same question but for 8.4V 600mAh battery, how long does it take to charge and how do I know when its done? I'd read the instructions but my japanese isn't very good (my instruction manual is in Japanese).

Look on your trickle charger. It should have its current, or mA value, printed somewhere. Divide your battery's capacity by that (1700mAh or 600mAh) and you'll come out with a one or two digit number. That's how many hours you have to charge it for, to go from completely discharged, to completely charged.

Or, sad to say, please get yourselves a better charger? You wont regret it, and it will pay for itself by lessening your aggravation.
