MP5SD6 not firing!! HELP!!!

My MP5 is not firing when the trigger is being pressed, it just makes some grinding noise...

What could be wrong? Where can I find a site that gives step by step instructions on how to disassemble the gun and the mech box?

PLEASE HELP!!! :banghead:

Stock or upgraded? Sounds like it's your motor; not aligned properly with the bevel gear...

Motor not seated well, and if you keep on trying it... probably a destroyed gear.

Guides are on this website. There is no real step by step and it's not really easy to do the first time.

Contact your local Doctor.

sounds like motor or gears
the motor should be an easy fix. small screws on the bottom of the handel should allow you to remove the end plate and view the motor. Pull it out and check the gear for damage. Re-seat with the wires at the back end.

If that didnt work, its gears.

doing the mechbox isnt easy, but its not as hard as it sounds. Just dont loose anything and put it all back the way you took it apart.

*EDIT*
Same idea as droc's idea.

Dont take the gun apart until you are positive on what the problem is. I had the exact same problem with my mp5 sd5 (which is practicly the same gun) and fixed it in 5 mins with the proper tools.

First off look for a little hole on the bottom of the pistol grip, second take an allen key that fits in the hole and adjust the screw thats inside the hole up or down (this will push the mortor gear so it is level with the gears in the mech box.

You gears on the mortor are not lineing up with the ones in your mechbox. Thats what's creating that horible sound.

Hope that helps

Erik

You have to remove all the body pins, the motor, and the pistol grip. Its a pain the first time around, so make sure you rule out your motor before you try it.

TM MP5 is a pain EVERY time you take it apart, just the first time you have to sort out what needs removing, but once you have it learned well, it's STILL a pain in the ass to get the mechbox out.
