VFC RAS Panel

I cant seem to remove the hanguard panels that came with my VFC M14 RAS. Any suggestions on removing this panel will be greatly appreciated

I'm guessing they're the panels here?

Then you depress the metal strip that's at one end, and pull e'm off the rail, along the same axis that the rail runs.

thanks for the input, however thats what I have bin doing the whole time. its just the panels are like super tightly fixed onto the rail

Yup the VFC M14 RAS has some very tight rail covers I stopped trying a while ago. I tried holding the tab down and having someone try pulling on it while I pulled the RAS in the opposite direction its really stuck on.

Oh. Well, in that case, and if you don't care too much about the rails, try putting the rails in a vice, and throw yer weight into it.

And then pick up some Magpul rails. In sexy OD. You know you want it.

OK I got bored and tried taking off again. This time I put the front of the RAS on the table with the Panel hanging off the side had some on hold the RAS upright while I pushed on the tab and took a rubber mallet and slowly knocked it off.
