aeg g n g m14 ebr

i just recently bought a gng m14 ebr, and it came shooting at 380fps on .2s and iwant to raise the fps to 450 so it can be more sniper dmr based, and dont know what parts to get, aside a newer spring and tightbore barrel. i dont know what internals it has, as i got it shipped from adrenaline paintball and im out in bc, so does anyone have any suggestions for parts that i can get to raise the fps up?

Spring upgrade is easiest. M130 should do the trick I think.

Better bucking can make you gain like 5-15 FPS from the virtue of better air seal.
TBB should also help you gain like 5-15 FPS.
Guarder "double O ring" cylinder head is another thing you can do and because again better air seal will give you like 5-15 FPS increase.

Note above is dependent on stock parts and how well the compression/air seal and such are in the stock gun itself.

Here's a reasonable build list:

SHS 15-teeth piston
Lonex POM piston head
Sorbo Pad
Lonex steel gear set 18:1 ratio
SHS 7mm steel bushings
Lonex V7 cylinder head for CA
AUG air nozzle
SHS M140 spring
SHS V3 spring guide
Lonex Short high torque motor (red)
Upgrade hop-up bucking, 16awg wiring all around.
11.1v >25C lipo battery

That should put you right around the 460fps mark at over 20 rounds a second. If built correctly it'll be very reliable and last you for quite a while. I've run this setup in my EBR Max for 5 games now.

On a budget, if this is a g&g max gun, all you need is shim, piston (with corrected AoE) and spring. The max guns will already be really well upgraded, a m130 will probably put you around 430-440 fps.

Otherwise, Stealth's list is what I would do.

The g&g max should have a metal double O ring cylinder head already, and the gearset is pretty good. I've run my max socom at 24rounds/sec and it was fine, with an sp110 and a classic army metal rack piston, no other upgrades.

I really have to point out that the stock motor really sucks balls. Replacing the motor alone, I netted at least a 10rps increase.

Agreed on the gears. Newer generation G&G gears seem to be very decent and heat treated.

I also agree with Stealth that the stock motors on most G&Gs seem to really suck balls and have no torque.

weird, mine pulled that massive 470fps import spring no issues with a shitty 9.6 nimh but I didn't put more than maybe 200 rounds through with that spring before swapping it out... rof didn't seem too bad but I can't tell you how many rounds the battery would've shot before it died...

Mine chronoed at something nutty like 425 with .25s before I swapped the spring.

I'll tell you how many rounds it shot before it died: less than 2000. I couldn't even run a bag of BBs through it.
