Marushin Mauser Kar 98K problems

Thought i would post here so i could ask any other k98 owners.

Im one of the unlucky ones that had a ton of problems with my K98, i already had to fix the damn adjustable iron sights but i have some other problems. If anyone else has found solutions i would appreciate any help

-the front iron sights ( the ones at the end of the barrel ) are loose and tightening the screw doesn't help, i don't want to glue it down because i plan to mount a scope

-the mag doesnt load the last shell into position, it always gets stuck a few mm too low which irritates the crap out of me

like i said any help would be much appreciated

The front sight shouldnt affect a scope.I have a scope on my M4 and i cant see the front sight or the battery box, its the same with any gun like the Kar98. Just glue it if you really want.

I have had alot of bad experiences with this gun.

The loadin' problem was incountered and I solved that by rebending the spring to get a little more upward force on the shell an' a better angle on the loading plate there.

Word of warning, always press down the spring when you push the bolt forward without a shell in it. The real ones are strong enough to stop the bolt...the marushin just shoves that loading plate forward.
