TM Hi-Capa 5.1 piston head question

I already have a Shooter's Design piston head on the way but in the mean time I need to get this thing up and running. I've been running my Hi-Capa on propane for about 6 months now with great success. I finally had my first o-ring problem last week but it doesn't seem to be the normal issue of the ring coming off. (I'm willing to be wrong though) I took the whole upper assembly apart to check if the o-ring had come off, which it had not, and put it all back together. When I was done (before I put the assembly back into the slide) I noticed that the piston head is slightly loose. I took the loading chamber off again to check if the piston head screw was loose but it was tight.
The question is: Is this normal or is something else wrong?
Any input is appreciated

Thanks Ill,
I had given up on this post after almost a week of inactivity.
Everything is well though. My replacement piston head order got cancelled due to lack of stock so I shimmed the piston head tight with one of those silly red paper doughnuts (for lack of a better word) that get used in building PC's. Works fine so far...knocks on wood
