VFC has the best AEG SCARs externally anyways.

yea. at the time i liked how the color matched more.

anyway i think ill get the SCAR-L instead of the SCAR-H but i could always get both down the line.

ive looked at pmags but there 30 bucks for one mag unless i find them used. for pmags is it dark earth? the vfc scar h mags are dark earth so i suppose its the same for both.

as of now im going with the MAG 100rd midcaps. if anyone has any other suggestions please share.

You can get the green lable pmags box of 10 for 100 bucks or so, they are only 75 rounds but they work.

Just bought my VFC scar-h, and while waiting for the gun to arrive, I also ordered:

- Shortdot scope
- KAC scope mount
- AWS Raptor mosfet
- ARS 3G sorbo Piston head and cylinder head
- SHS piston
- 11.1v 1600mah lipo
- Hobby king's XT60 connectors
- Lipo charger
- gonna be rewiring the stock with 16 gauge wires too!

Next on the list:

- 20Lr pmags or VFC midcaps
- Map pouches
- Guncase

PS: My wallet hates me right now....

gunny: what color? ive been trying to decide. first tan then black now im thinking tan. im also thinking of the h instead of the l. its so difficult choosing lol

Tan off course.... I always pictured the scar tan... even though I play in a typical tempered forest and wear cadpat BDU...lol

And I went for the H variant, because it looks unique, and badass!

if its pmags you want you can get the green lables but they are plastic which me personally i dont like. Haung has polymer 120rd pmags in tan (dark earth) and black they need to be modified alittle to fit in some guns. easy to do and for $15 each you cant beat it. i own 8 all feed good and they feel great too.

Nice choice with the H, I wish I would've got an H instead. Maybe later.
Anyways, solid set up, although that barrel is sold out. And something to note is it says it is for the Light, not Heavy, so I don't know if that means it won't fit properly.

I got my VFC SCAR-H over 18 months ago...
It is the only gun that I have that is that old...
I game it alot; it is my preferred primary.
It is still stock. I haven't had to change anything out other than the occasional piston lube and gear grease.
The only con I can think of is the propriatary mag...
They are becoming easier to find now but 3 will cost ya like $120.
If you want to be able to collect mags from team mates, you may want to consider the MK16 instead.

the barrel should work. threading should also be the same so i can put the flash hider on.

Rivawild: 3 190rd mid caps go for like 90 but there sold out and ive only seen 160rd mids everywhere for 30 bucks each unless i import them but shipping might make up the savings :/

edit: they have the cqc, std and ssr outer barrels. all should work

For the H I would definitely consider modding 20LR PMags, not like you have to buy them for all of your mags, but I think it'd be worth having a few. It doesn't seem that hard to do either.

What part needs to be modded on the mag? I've found them but depending on where I get them I may not save a lot. But I do like the look of them.
