So the game at big foot has been cancelled. Its a shame I know, but they are worried about flooding so let hope that doesn't happen.
I would like to arange a get together and throw a few ideas around about ww2 airsoft in the lowermain land, so anyone who is interested drop me a pm and we will talk.

I'm pretty much brand new to airsoft and have been doing paintball for a few years off and on but I am in the lowermainland and love WWII German gear and tactics.
On a point of a basic MP40 setup with the gun and ammo and such what sort of price range is there? And would it be cheaper if for other guns if I bought most of the parts and hand-made wooden parts like stocks and hand guards? |

I'm not too well educated when it comes to the Reich side's situation regarding prices, but I believe the AGM would be your best bet for an "economy" gun, as well, the new STG that appears to be coming out though probably "cheap" may be a wise choice once we learn more about it.
But as for the original question, your MP40 might run you at 300 (not familiar with what AGM MP40's go for on the Canadian market lately) plus mags, new battery, charger -- then add on gear which can range from god knows what... So just the gun, mags and battery may get you around 400 for entry... ? Someone else feel free to jump in, I'm just guessing. |

About right, AGM MP40 runs for $350-$375 *new* (should come with batt and charger) and you can get the mags for $10 at Cobra Airsoft.

Having looked around some and asked a million questions of a friend in Cali that is really into airsoft he recommended the MP40 made by Matrix that sells on one site for $130 USD then the spare magazines sell for $5 USD on another site so when I have the chance I'm going to order the gun and a pile of magazines to be delivered to my grandma's house in Washington and then I can get started out with airsoft.
About $200 for a full metal MP40 with a hand full of magazines and battery and charger and such seems rather reasonable considering my new paintball gun with vest and rebuilt air system and specialty loader system is gonna cost $800. The gun is here if you guys wanna look at it. http://www.airsoftpost.com/mp007-mat...e-p-27371.html On a side note what do you guys think about repainting of guns? I do A LOT of painting of many types of things and would like to camouflage my guns to match my gear and terrain but would that be really looked down on? That is the AGM MP40, I suppose your in the States- its a lot different down here.
I personally don't recommend custom camo on any WWII gun. |

I'm actually not in the US but I do have family in Washington so I can order stuff from US sites to be shipped to there and then I can go pick it up.
