I certainly wouldn't be up to NO2 experimentation myself with a G980.

I mentioned the NO2 to be clear when asking for the sparklets from a salesperson in a shop. Either of these sparklets tend to be behind the counter and not on a self serve shop shelf (from my experience) in kitchenware shop.

They recently relisted their 8 gram CO2's too , cheaper than Kidder.

I didn't even know they got raided. I remember a while back they got in shit because someone managed to get their 50 cal revolver to fire off 2 rounds, but didn't know they were shut down.

I know that if this G&G rifle is a bust, I may turn to this as another option.

Does not include shipping price though. Saves you from buying whole mags though since 1 CO2 cartridge can supposedly last 45 shots...

Maybe now we can use the proper mag pouches for a Kar 98 then!

How would you go about ejecting the spent magazine? Would seem a bit a bit awkward to pick that out through the open bolt. Unless there is some sort of ejector. I dunno!

Anyone got one of these in country yet?

Same as how you eject tanaka k98 mags. The seperate bb holder was meant for changing co2 not clips

//sent on my smartphone, I apologized for any unchecked spellcheck//

yeah, you still need to eject the entire magazine, change the bb holder and reinsert said holder followed by the magazine....kind of a lot of steps there.

but I'm still buying one!!!

I wish, but you have to trigger the small latch that seems really small to trigger through the bolt opening

word on the street (on facebook) is that its a poor quality airsoft gun... though I have not found any 'legit' reviews myself.

Poor quality vs. a real 1898 mauser karabiner or poor quality for an airsoft gun?
Because if it comes down to a bit of tweak on a sear, replacing some o-rings, and getting a custom walnut stock made then I pretty much don't care.
If valves are soft and covered in flash though.. then we have a problem.
