Well the official distributor's Cansoft is like $400 Still...This is ridiculous...

Honestly, $400 is the max I'm gonna dish out for a black GBBR from the WE MSRP, besides I'll wait for the Standard G36, that will definitely be able to meet the uncontrolled firearm regulation. If the Canadian retailer still want to monopolize the system, person import then...(if you don't know the detail legality stuff this option is not for you)

370 is for CANSOFT version too, what a rip, still double US prices, but also fully legal for them to import so no risk that we are paying for

If your going to complain about the price your probably not going to buy it anyway.

If it's LEGAL to import then do it yourself, no one is stopping you. Just remember an absent-minded CBSA official can still SEIZE your package if he/she sees fit. You think that large distributors like Mach1, VA, OneWorld have wonderful relationships with CBSA? You'd be surprised, even with all this FRT biz.

They are businesses as well, you are paying for ZERO-risk and in-country item.

Lower the product price you should easily expect 2X shipping and duty alone will makeup at least half of the Asia retail price.

Also if you're buying wholesale, freight costs aren't cheap either - it's cheaper to go freight out of HK then from Taiwan, this is the same for VFC, SRC and what not so these dealers here need to make these investments worthwhile.

They are shelling out $$$$ ... like money you and I could put downpayment on houses with, or get that Mitsubishi Lancer EVO! no joke.

American retailers would be paying similar freight and duties costs as canadian retailers, so you cant use that in your argument for why LEGAL to import guns are more expensive here, and wholesale will be the same or similar to each, so there is really no reason other than greed

you forget that american retailers also have issues importing their LEGAL guns sometimes, but do they charger 200% markup for that?

Better be careful not to break the tabs off of the mags...they sound expensive. Then again, Evike has them listed at $40 USD each, and Redwolf has them for $36 USD each, so I guess it's pretty par for the course.

Also, anyone else exited for the prospect of a K variant? Def holding out for that one

They also sell 100x more guns than here. They can distribute the markup on the risk.

This.

I am pretty impressed at the ridgitiy of the rifle, though i do love how they say "this is our best designed hop up yet. And it looks and functions identical to the WA design lol

Edit : I did notice after watching the 18 mag test.
1) the first magazine expelled its gas before the mag was emptied (You can see the BB's still in the feed lip)
2) the 4-5th magazine didnt lock back the bolt when emptied
3) the first "single mag" didnt lock back the bolt either.

I know a few of you are going to nitpick about how "shit happens" on gbbr's and even realsteel etc etc. But keep this in mind. They are in a controlled environment with regulated temperatures and humidity when doing these tests.

I wonder what the gas capacity vs rounds are like.

James already said on forum that the magazine wasn't fill to the max especially In the first one. Never the less, semi auto will dump all is alot better than the WA system.
