definitely sexier.
I like the newer stock, it is rounded and looks very original, unusual.

One is already for sale, the other is soon to be. BUT! I'm thinking about keeping the CYMA GSG-5 one. Should I? *sigh*
I got a bit artsy when color correcting the last picture. Last edited by K3vX; March 25th, 2014 at 18:06.. |

There not airsoft... Any stock on a H&K platform is going to cost you $$$. If you think it is overpriced then don`t look at my zenitco AK lol ...

What did it take to get the Geissele rail on the WE? I've read that the WE barrel nut is too big, and the threads on the VFC nut aren`t cross-compatible.

from what i've read on the dt6 forums, lotsa filling/sanding/dremeling/grinding. Not sure if it was a result of user workmanship or different specs on diff brand guns, but i think some ppl even ended up with an uneven top rail.

LOTS of dremel work to the barrel nut, gasblock and even the gastube was required. The rail still sits a little shy of a millimeter low compared to the rail on the upper receiver, however that is hidden by the EOTech.
I think that Dytac ultimately screwed up when they developed a barrel nut specifically for their rail and the VFC HK416, but didn't include it with the rail at all. There isn't a single rifle you can slide that rail onto without serious modification to the barrel nut. Looks awesome and feels WAY better if you bite the bullet and put some blood, sweat and tears into it though.
