Very nice mctaz...

The team I am in - Team AKA - is just considering 'birch' for our Autumn (do you Canadian's call it 'Fall' like the Americans?) loadout...

It'll give us the chance to use our wood furnitured AKMs!

LMAO....

We seem to have skipped summer here in the UK, and are going straight to winter too....I wonder if that means we will skip Spring and go straight back to Summer again!

Not likely, I feel it is going to be a long winter again. Oh well, it leaves lots of time to get the kit in order for next year. And finding some flectar D in my size is proving a bit tough. 32 waist and 30 inseam pants, and a 40 reg. jacket. Not easy to find so far. If anyone spots any let me know.

Other sources of Flecktar-D are:-

UK: RusMilitary (good range of sizes although they are going fast as he has them on sale)

Russia: Soviet Propaganda (email Dmitri from his site - he can get his hands on anything and any size usually)...

But you best hurry - Flecktar-D is going out of fashion in Russia, they have other camos taking it's place and it was never that widely manufactured anyway.

Excellent impression mctaz!

Where did you get that cut of fatigues? at first I thought it was the sniper smock...

I quite fancy doing the KGB border guards from the 1980's, they wore something similar, but with pull on boots, normal Soviet soldier webbing and a dashing service cap....

Will do! I would love to get hold of a set of that camo. its the closest I can get to the kamuflirovanniy kurtki which the KGB wore in a traditional Soviet soldier cut.
