i still would prefer the MG42. In real life, it is the superior platform and i think it looks cooler IMHO.

ya my bad. i dunno why i said rifle. though speaking of which, and changing the topic, i would love to see an AEG all metal all wood G43. I love that gun!

The tripod is called a la fayette when used in combination with the optic sights a gunner could lay down accurate fire up to 1km on zero'd in postions such as bridges, approches and crossroads.Ipersonally like the MG34 if its good enough for Imperial stormtroopers its good enough for me.

I like em both. Although the 42 was more refined, and petty much perfected. The 34 was when they figured everything out and created a beast.
I wouldn't want to be on the recieving end of either one of them. >:0(
But I sure would like to be on the trigger of one. :0)
