You're comparing a $250 gun to a $700 gun.
A gun which costs almost 3 times as much.
.....right.

That's right! I didn't buy the Fa-mas for the price but because I love this gun.
I would hope to have a better quality on plastic.

Can see pics now. Nice review.

Does this one have a spring-tension release lever in the magwell?

Unfortunately, no. Apparently, JP thought it took up too much space and complexity and took it out. It would be convenient, and the instructions even list it being there, but on the gun, nothing.

Edit: Just on a sidenote, it's behind the magwell on the TM, not inside. The JP still doesn't have it, though, after a more through search.

Update: Guess who got their braces off?!

I finally managed to wrench that ugly orange tip off my Flash Hider.
It looks so much better without it!

Pictures:
Edit: They were taking up too much space. You can see them in the original review, so there's not much point to them here.

I'm actually quite stoked about this, as it now has so much more of that 'authentic' look to it after that hideous bright orange piece of American Regulations off it.

Now, about that black body...

I did my own review of this quite a while ago, i have now sold it, but I've got to say i loved it, sorta regret selling it really. FAMAS F1 its not nearly as detailed but its the all black version

Damn impressive review kid! One of the most informative I've seen on this site for a while. Looking forwards to your reviews of hopefully better guns in the future!
