1) Manufacturer
KWA KG36C CAS version 2) Date Obtained Around December 15th 3) Initial Cost $380 4) New or Used New 5) Mechanical Problems 1. Broken tappet plate and cylinder head around 2000 rounds 2. Broken Saftey selector around 4000 rounds 3. Broken cylinder head again (identical to the first time) and torn hop rubber around 7000 rounds 6) Esthetic Problems I cracked the clear magwell and snapped the body screw/pin that goes through it due to over tightening. Clear lower receiver has some cracks, nothing serious. 7) Rounds fired between failures Listed above 8) Changes to Internals and Externals Painted the Lower Receiver, new stock KWA tappet plate, new stock KWA selector plate, new (don't know brand, Darklen replaced it for me) hop rubber and some Systema aluminum cylinder head. Again, Bob (Darklen) replaced it for me and I can't remember the name. A200 or something like that I think. 10)Notes and Comments I think that me shooting my gun in -30 weather may have been the cause of the broken tappet plate and selector switch. Not very happy with the cracks in the receiver. |

KWA G36c
1) Manufacturer
KWA KG36C CAS version 2) Date Obtained November 2008 3) Initial Cost $340.00 4) New or Used New 5) Mechanical Problems 1. Broken tappet plate and cylinder head around 1000 rounds 2. Broken Saftey selector around 2000 rounds 6) Esthetic Problems Clear lower receiver has some cracks, every screw hole and the upper are where the rail attaches 7) Rounds fired between failures 1000 8) Changes to Internals and Externals Lets see..New piston, piston head, down grade spring(was shooting 430fps, Fire selector worked on, and added a tight bore 10)Notes and Comments This would be a great gun if it was solid polymer and not that crap plastic. Secondly it was shooting hot out of the box I'm sure that is why it broke down on me and I'm sure contributed to the cracking. Last edited by jomor; August 28th, 2010 at 18:52.. |

1) Classic Army MP5 SD5
2) July 2007 3) $230 USD (About $250 CAD at the time) 4) New 5) broken selector switch. Replaced it but it didn't help; it's very flimsy and can only beset on FA or safety. 6) broken bolt (never replaced it), stock cracked (replaced), wobbly front set 7) No failures. Approx 10000 rounds. 8) Modify cylinder set, Madbull 330mm 6.03 tightbore, king arms MP5 mount. 10) I know it sounds like she's flimsy, but I've put her through a lot and she works flawlessly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) G&G M16A3 (Cansoft) 2) $320 3) January 2008 4) New 5) Came with a small type tamiya connector for a full M16 stock... 6) None. 7) About 5000 8) Madbull 10 inch open front RIS, Madbull 455mm 6.03 tightbore, Madbull 16 inch dissipator outer barrel, KA ambi mag catch, VLTOR flip up front sight, samurai flip up rear sight, G&P zombie killer silencer, KA 20mm vertical grip. 10) The polymer lower is surprisingly solid. Has an odd shreik to it when firing, it sounds like the gears are to tight. Never broken open this gearbox though. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) KWA M226 PTP 2) July 2010 3) $180 USD ($185 CAD) 4) New. 5) Pretty weak recoil and hammer springs... 6) Sights were loose, had to cement them in place. Disassembly lever is pretty loose, but has never flipped down accidentaly. 7) No failures, about 200 rounds. 8) 2 extra mags...? 10) Well I found out the hard way that the P226 has no safety... Never crossed my mind untill after I bought it when it went off in my holster. Sights were annoying at first since Im used to stationary 92F sights but no complaints now that they're cemented in place. Frame is HEAVY DUTY steel along with the slide release, decocking lever, hammer, trigger, ect... Slide is quality steel-aluminum alloy. I'll post my WA M92FS and KJW M9 Vertec tomorrow.

The key points are as follows:
1) G&G GR16 M4A1 Pneumatic Blowback 2) August 2009 3) Initial Cost -$350 4) New or Used - 5) Mechanical Problems (Gearbox issues, hopup issues.. basically functional performance related -- supply date of issue) -Gearbox cracked on me, but that was my fault for neglecting to secure the gearbox properly. Other than that, everything else was A ok. 6) Esthetic Problems (Paint damage, cracks in body, loose parts.. physical construction related -- supply date of issue) -Lower receiver pin area broke on me twice. First time was my fault for not being careful. Second time, I had no idea what happened. 7) Rounds fired between failures (think how many bags of BB's used before it failed. If no failure, list rounds fired up to this point) -25,000rds and gearbox cracked. Again, this was my fault. -40,000rds+ and still working to date. 8) Changes to Internals and Externals (upgrades, mods, dates) - Madbull V2 TBB, Element Reinforced Gearbox Shell V2, Aluminum piston head, King Arms Hopup Unit. Added rails to the carrying handle and a tasco red dot as well as sprayed painted the lower black.. The dates of the upgrades were random and I don't remeber. 9) Resale Date and Value if applicable. -Has not been resold. 10)Notes and Comments (Optional) -This gun is a tank. It's my first AEG and it is still working strong. It's gone from a 9.6v NiMH to 11.1v Lipos and even stressed with my 14v power supply and it still keeps on going. Only thing now is that the motor is beginning to get weaker and slower. It sounds like it could use a replacement. Oh and the one thing I really liked about this gun: IT's DAMN accurate and has insane range!. G&G's Green hopup rubber is surprisingly really effective.
