Canada Post services suspended nationwide

How long are they going to hold it for? USPS that is. I have a seller who "acidently sent a package USPS instead of the Fedex we agreed apon.

Another labour disruption?

One of my remaining 6 packages with Canada Post, currently in Vancouver sorting facility has just been updated on July 3 @ 1am stating:

"Labour disruption affecting this location". wtf?

Check the date. Heres my oldest package that I'm still waiting on:

It was ordered May 27th, shipped in the beginning of June. The July 3rd entry was the first sign of it in Canada. The June 30th one popped up today.

Finally Received my package today! yeah!
Was my Corcoran para boot for my 101e impression.

I have received 8 packages with 5 of them NOT Canada Post due to the strike :P... Thank god for DHL and FedEX lol. Out of the 5 packages, I only had to pay fees on one DHL package T.T.

Here's the current status of 3 of mine, while there are 3 more in *limbo* which should have been here if not for the strike/lockout...

Not sure why they declare a labour disruption on July 3rd for 2 of my shipments though... Poor excuse for workers being lazy?

That July 2 one should have been posted LONG ago if not for the stupid lockout and HK post refusing to accept packages... My other 3 are shipped but have not even been updated yet...

Okay. Ya that's sucky. And I thought getting the June 30th update on July 8th was odd, yours is just weird!

Seems like western part of Canada is still affected by the strike? major delays coming from there...

Yeah. Never saw that look for tracking parcel on Canada post.

It's the Canada post app on my iPhone. I have it for USPS too.

There are apps for ups, purolator, and fedex. I just can't be bothered to use them these though. I don't see anything for dhl or Canpar. Two of which I would also use for work.

actually the website saves it too now. Mine is weird as well. This is what I got on mine.

2011/07/08 07:30 KINGSTON Item out for delivery
2011/07/01 01:00 CANADA Item Delayed - Temporary volume surge as we resume operations
2011/06/30 20:11 CALGARY Item processed at postal facility
12:24 CALGARY Item accepted at the Post Office

I wonder if it is actually here... I wasnt able to check since I was in a school trip today.

Mines are marked "delayed" since june 22nd, and nobody at CP seems to know what the fuck is going on.

But I got packages sent after the ones I'm waiting for, so go figure...
